Where the City Meets Wilderness — Solo Exhibition by Anja FalkThis November, Anja Falk presents her new solo exhibition, Where the City Meets Wilderness, at Bikaner House, New Delhi — Kalamkaar, 1st Floor Exhibition Hall — from 20th to 23rd November 2025. The series brings together large-scale abstract paintings partially created outdoors in Delhi’s forests or during her travels, reflecting the delicate balance between urban life and untamed nature. Each work invites the viewer into that quiet, transformative space where the two worlds merge.A Private Viewing will be held on 20th November from 11 AM to 6 PM, followed by the Opening Evening from 6 PM to 9 PM. Both are by invitation or upon request — RSVPs are appreciated through the contact form or via email at [email protected].
The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 21st to 23rd November, 11 AM to 7 PM.

Sculptures

Anja Falk is currently exploring resin sculpture making — a work in progress that experiments with form, transparency, and light.

About the Artist

Born and raised in rural East Germany, Anja Falk grew up surrounded by fields, forests, and open skies — an early closeness to nature that continues to shape her artistic vision. After studying law and working in the legal field, she spent a transformative year in South Africa, where the vast landscapes and vibrant light deepened her connection to the natural world.Since first coming to India in 2006, Anja has made Delhi her home. Leaving behind her career in law, she chose to follow her true calling — art — setting out on a creative voyage of exploration and transformation. Her path is guided by curiosity and the desire to discover how nature mirrors our inner landscapes.Her nature-inspired abstract works are often created outdoors, surrounded by forests, shifting light, and living textures. Through color, movement, and material, she explores what it means to feel rooted and free — tracing the meeting point between the human spirit and the wilderness.

Anja Falk’s solo exhibition, Where the City Meets Wilderness, will be held at Bikaner House, New Delhi — Kalamkaar, 1st Floor Exhibition Hall — from 20th to 23rd November 2025. In April 2024 Anja Falk participated in a group exhibition at The Sheraton Hotel New Delhi.
